Rapper Beanie Sigel says Kanye West doesn’t owe him anything for coming up with the name “Yeezy”.
“As far as his entrepreneurial spirit and where he’s grown – you know, Kanye works hard for him. Kanye owes me nothing,” he said in a recent interview.
“Today you give someone a fish, he will eat for the day. If you teach someone how to fish, he will eat forever. He will teach his family how to fish,” he said. “I don’t even think of a number but I would love to do some business where I can make some money. Because I’m an earner.
Earlier this month, Beans announced that Ye had promised him $50 million and a 5% stake in Yeezy.
Now he says that he is focusing on his own projects.
“I have a lot of business ventures that I think if Kanye and I sit down and have a chance to present him, you know, that’s some money on the table that I could make.”
