‘Be careful’ this earnings period
CNBC’s Jim Cramer on Friday urged investors to make careful, deliberate decisions regarding their portfolios as the new earnings season kicks off next week.
“It’s been an important week. The first three weeks. Get on your tiptoes. Listen to the calls. Don’t act unless you’re sure. It’s very difficult to be certain of anything that’s just been reported.” he said, repeating some of his five rules for the earnings season.
The much-anticipated earnings season will see the biggest companies in the tech, retail and consumer goods sectors report their quarterly financial results.
Cramer previewed the quarterly report. All earnings estimates, sales, and economic data are provided by FactSet.
