After three years of PC exclusivity, Worldwalker Games and Auroch Digital have announced that the award-winning narrative role-playing game Wild Legend will finally make the leap to turn on October 22.
This character-based RPG has the feel of a classic tabletop experience. You’ll build a humble party of heroes and take them on a journey where their growth and interactions are shaped by the decisions you make along the way. The procedural storytelling means you won’t see the same adventure twice, so be prepared for a fair amount of replayability.
It all takes place in a hand-drawn fantasy world where you can see the consequences of your actions on your party and the environment around you. While there’s no online multiplayer, the console version does feature four-player local co-op, so you can form a group of friends from the comfort of your couch.
Wildermyth has attracted 15,000 people overwhelmingly positive reviews since launch on Steam back in 2021, when the game went on to win PC Gamer’s ‘Best RPG’ of the Year, IGN’s ‘Editor’s Choice’, the ‘Final Innovation Award’ at the Game Developers’ Choice Awards, and many more. Quite an achievement, right?

And for those wondering, yes, there will be a physical version. While there’s no exact release date at the moment, Auroch Digital has confirmed that a physical Switch version is in the works that will include the real-life Monster Compendium and the Off-hand Item Skin Pack DLC.
