Are there a lot of enemies? This SUV has you covered

Eclectic car brand Rezvani is adding a new member to its ranks: a powerful and superior force Arsenal.

The American company, known for everything from light sports cars to 6×6 utes, has once again used the Cadillac Escalade as the basis for a solid SUV.

Like 2022 revengeArsenal wears Escalade mechanics in a completely different style.

However, unlike the Vengeance, the company’s latest model is intended for the civilian market rather than military and paramilitary applications.

The Arsenal can seat seven or eight and has real armor protection, which means its tough exterior isn’t just for show.

Rezvani says this is the first civilian application of the composite material rated at B6 ballistic protection, which means you’ll be safe from standard assault rifles and armor-piercing bullets if you have to make your way through combat. school.

The composite material has weight-saving properties, meaning it is said to weigh one-third as much as traditional steel ballistic protection.

Steel bumpers are standard, with an optional winch.

There’s also an additional military package, which adds underbody blast protection, smoke screens, military-grade run-flat tires, reinforced suspension, electromagnetic pulse protection, thermal night vision , sirens and warning lights, electrified door handles, bulletproof glass and Body armor.

Additionally, you can get magnetic deadbolts that Rezvani says “provide maximum security against unauthorized or forced access” and strobe/dazzle lights “to blind the device monitoring at night” – in case that is a concern for you.

If that’s not enough, the package also adds a bulletproof vest and helmet, gas mask, hypothermia kit, optional explosive device detection, and pepper spray.

Engines mirror the Escalade line: there’s a 6.2-liter V8 gasoline engine with 317 horsepower, as well as a 3.0-liter turbo-diesel inline-six or a 6.2-liter turbocharged V8 with 522 horsepower horse power.

A 10-speed automatic transmission is standard.

In terms of convenience and comfort features, you’ll get heated and ventilated leather seats, satellite navigation with augmented reality, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, head-up display, rearview mirror with camera , hands-free electric tailgate and panoramic sunroof.

The interior design is largely unchanged from the Escalade, although the exterior styling is completely different.

In total, the Arsenal is priced from US$225,000 (A$337,480) and is limited to 100 pieces. Deliveries are expected to begin later this year.

For comparison, the Cadillac Escalade RWD starts at $86,890 ($130,328), while the Escalade-V starts at $157,290 ($235,923).

Rezvani doesn’t just make armored cars as they launched the second generation 746kW Beast supercar earlier this year. It is based on one Chevrolet CorvetteLimited to just 20 pieces and priced at $485,000 ($742,000).
