Announcing the winners of the 10th United Nations World Oceans Day Photo Contest

Winners of The 10th Annual Photo Contest for United Nations World Oceans Day was announced on June 8, 2023, during UN World Oceans Day (UNWOD) 2023 event at United Nations Headquarters in New York. The freestyle competition, launched this past March, explored six thematic categories linked to 2023’s overarching theme: “Planet Ocean: The Tides Are Changing”. World-renowned judges include wildlife photographer Rathika Ramasamy (India), wildlife photographer Rajan Desai (USA), underwater wildlife photographer Ipah Uid Lynn (Malaysia), and photographer and filmmaker Antoine Janssens (Switzerland), were selected first, second and third place winners for each category. The winners were selected from thousands of global entries made by both amateur and professional photographers.
