New (-ish) fashion icon Anne Hathaway is in Paris for Haute Couture Week, and she’s got our attention time and time again (see here and here). One of her most casual styles of the week to date is a pretty (and slightly flashy) shoe trend: metallic shoes. Hathaway teamed silver Western boots with wide leg jeans and a jacket, with these boots providing just the striking fashion look needed during High Fashion Week.
metallic shoes has been popping up more and more in the market and in my Instagram feed, and other chic celebrities (like Katie Holmes) have recently been wearing this trend as well. Not only that, but they were worn by half of Chanel’s couture models this week (a pair of gold closed-toe boots to be exact). I happen to think that metallic shoes are the perfect pairing with jeans, and I highly recommend investing in a pair if you’re someone who wears jeans all the time (or not – they go with everything).
