Aer Lingus has canceled all afternoon flights departing from Dublin airport on Saturday due to connectivity issues in its booking system that disrupted check-in and boarding, the company said. .

The Irish carrier, owned by London IAGsaid “a major problem with a network provider” meaning it couldn’t access its cloud-based systems.

“This is causing severe disruption to Aer Lingus’ services today,” the company said in a statement, adding that it was working to resolve the issue as quickly as possible. .

All flights scheduled to depart from Dublin to destinations in Europe and the UK from 1300 GMT on Saturday have been cancelled, it said.
