Rodgers has made a number of headlines this year, but one particular moment in Week 6 added another page to Rodgers’ legend: After a fourth-quarter encounter that essentially marked a win for Rodgers. Packers against Chicago, Rodgers returned to the stands, stared at the numerous middle fingers, and made a rather precise and declarative statement:
“I still own you,” Rodgers shouted in the stands.
As Rodgers and the Packers prepare to defend their home field against Justin Fields and the Bears this weekend, Rodgers reinforced that he doesn’t regret the comment, but points out it wasn’t aimed at the Bears.

However, Rodgers’ mockery was less of a mockery and more of a statement of fact: Since being named the starter for the Packers, Rodgers has in fact dominated, possessive, son – and any other phrase you choose to use – Bear.
Aaron Rodgers record vs. Bears
Since entering the tournament in 2005, Rodgers has faced the Bears 26 times. He keeps a Record 21-5 beat its rival NFC North.
That’s the best record he has of any NFC North competitor. He is 15-10 against the Vikings and 18-5 with the Lions in his career.
Rodgers also had a win over the Bears in the knockout stages in 2011: The Packers beat the Bears in the NFC Championship game on their way to a Super Bowl win over the Steelers.
Rodgers is currently on a five-game winning streak against the Bears since 2019, and the Packers are 9-1 in Rodgers’ last 10 games against Chicago. The Bears haven’t had a season streak while Rodgers has started.

Rodgers’ total ownership of the Bears isn’t just down to his record. In those 26 games, Rodgers threw 6,208 yards and 57 touchdowns with just 10 interceptions. He’s also rushed to make two touchdowns, including the rush that led to his famous “I still own you” statement earlier this year.
Rodgers has six games where he’s launched four or more touchdown passes, including a monster six-TD performance in 2014 in the Packers’ 55-14 win.
There’s good news for Bears fans, though: Rodgers’ passer rating against Chicago is third-lowest compared to rivals NFC North. He has a 110.2 rating against the Vikings, a 108.1 rating over the Lions and a 107.7 rating over Chicago.

Rodgers’ comments reached the ears of the Bears players, but most of them seemed to deny it and didn’t pin anything to the bulletin board before entering their Week 14 game.
Head coach Matt Nagy has kept it short and sweet when referring to Rodgers’ taunt “We know about that,” he said.

And this rivalry means a lot to not only the people around here but the people of Chicago, too. things like that. It’s definitely going to mean a lot and I think it’s going to motivate us for the last five games or after this, the last four. It’s definitely going to be great.”
