A week in the life of a full-time YouTuber

Becoming a full-time YouTuber – or any content creator, really – is a dream for many people. Even though I never had any desire to do that, I can’t deny that I sometimes find myself jealous. So can you really do it?

For anyone working a “normal” job, the lure of being a full-time YouTuber can be daunting at best. It can also be appealing if you’ve finished your degree and are browsing job boards for careers you’re not excited about starting. I say this from both of our experiences. Now, I didn’t go the YouTube route but sometimes I wish I had. The only thing that bothers me is how demanding it is and how long it takes, at least if you want the opportunity to work full-time.

Like most successes, many people look at YouTubers and think “I could do that” without realizing that they’ve been doing “that” for a decade, hard, day in and day out. To achieve good things, it requires huge commitment and consistency and YCImaging, the people behind this video, proves it. Check out his channel details: He has been making videos for over 10 years and has released 622 of them during that time. More than one video a week, and if you’ve seen his content, you know they take a lot of work.

So this behind-the-scenes look at YCImaging’s weekly workflow might help you decide if this juice is worth your while.
