Leave it to a hot american racer to get a personal luxury German sports car and turn it into a straight-line acceleration monster powered entirely by screaming bald eagles. While this car will have leaving a factory in Bavaria 22 years ago, it was powered by a relatively small inline-six engine, now it packs 468 cubic inches purebred american mouse engineOh, and every inch of leather-wrapped luxury has been stripped out in favor of a trunk-mounted tailgate, a valid roll cage 8.50 secondsand aluminum panels. According to the seller, the entire kit and accessories weigh just 2,500 pounds.

So they threw a thousand pounds and tripled the horsepower? Yeah, that’s it.

The seller says the car is brand new and has only completed seven test and tune runs. It is NHRA-certified legal down to 8.5 seconds, although the seller calls it a “nine-second car” on the three-foot-tall printed information sheet that comes with the car.

Here’s a full rundown of what makes this car so fast:

The car still retains its factory lights and signals, and the unmarked name means it’s technically street legal if you’re brave enough. I’d definitely give it a go, but it probably wouldn’t be the most comfortable, and with the big creases in the rear and small creases in the front, it probably wouldn’t be the safest thing to take on the road in a downpour. Thankfully, the car is in Arizona—because of course it is—so that risk is low.

This is clearly a car that has been built pretty seriously, and it looks like no expense has been spared. The seller is asking $30,000 for this monster, and that could be a very cheap way to get nine laps in the quarter mile. If you’re the type of person who wants a very fast BMW that can’t really turn or stop very well, Check it out on eBay for more pictures..

Okay, so there’s not much of a BMW 325ci left in this thing, but it sure looks the part. And wouldn’t it be cool to show up at a BMWCCA event just to see the look on their faces? I could definitely do that.
