Krämer APX-350 MA 2025 Racing Bike
2025 Krämer APX-350 MA Light weight race The world has a new boss—the 2025 Krämer APX-350 MA. Designed to separate the wheat from the chaff in the MotoAmerica Talent Cup spec series, this is a precision instrument built for serious riders looking to hone their skills.

At the heart of the APX-350 MA is a 350cc single-cylinder engine from the KTM EXC-F off-roader that produces 55 horsepower through a 6-speed gearbox. It may not seem like much, but the bike weighs just 109.8 kg. [242 lbs] so it has an excellent power-to-weight ratio.

The lightweight design is thanks to Krämer building the machine with a racing-grade chrome-molybdenum trellis frame. This provides optimal rigidity and balance for the rider while remaining extremely light. The entire carbon-fiberglass body is functional—designed to be aerodynamic and save even more weight.

Adjustability is a key feature of the bike, so virtually every aspect of the APX-350 MA can be adjusted to suit the rider’s preference. Head angle, triple clamp offset, swingarm pivot, footpegs, handlebar clamps and seat height can all be adjusted for different riding styles or track conditions.

Krämer has combined the adjustability with WP APEX suspension, top-of-the-line Brembo Stylema brakes, and Dunlop tires wrapped around 17-inch wheels. Thanks to this spec, the APX-350 MA is built to handle tight corners and fast straights with equal force.

The bike is equipped with Mectronik’s MKE7 racing ECU, which is connected to a ride-by-wire throttle controller and a host of data-gathering capabilities. A bright, race-oriented TFT display from the ECUMaster keeps riders connected to vital information, while a GPS-powered lap timer ensures they can track progress to the tenth of a second.

Ducati 848 Custom by Rind Performance
Ducati 848 by Rind Performance Robin Ludwig and his Rind Performance team are back with another European twin-engine masterpiece. Inspired by the legendary Ducati Desmosedici RR, Robin’s latest creation is a Ducati 848 Designed in classic Ducati style.

To bring some of that style to the 848, the bodywork has undergone a complete makeover. A new front fairing transforms the 848’s angular aesthetic into something more akin to a Ducati 750SS. 3D-printed air ducts feed the 849cc L-twin engine, and a custom windscreen helps take pressure off Robin’s chest while also cutting a subtle silhouette.

The rear subframe, tail section and Alcantara seat are all bespoke, giving the bike a sleek yet timeless look. Robin has managed to make the stock tank work well with the new front and rear, despite the modern lines and construction. Upgraded Öhlins suspension, Brembo brakes and Ducati 998 Marchesini wheels provide subtle upgrades in looks and performance.

The custom exhaust system ends in a pair of GPR mufflers that protrude from beneath the tail. The low radiator and LED lighting all around add a modern touch. The classic Ducati lettering on the bright red Desmosedici-inspired bodywork makes a beautiful connection between past and present.

Perhaps the most charming feature is the bike’s nickname – ‘Desmospagedici’ – a playful nod to Desmosedici, a nod to Robin’s passion for Italian engineering and cuisine. And really, who can blame him?

It may not have the full Desmosedici DNA, but Robin’s Ducati honors the brand’s racing pedigree while adding a little personality, creativity, and custom style. We bet it’s a lot of fun to ride, too. [Source]

Yamaha XV920 Virago cafe racer by BTC Garage
Yamaha XV920 Virago by BTC Garage As Yamaha evolves ViragoLittle did they know that custom builders would be messing with it in the future. With its pressed steel frame, monoshock rear suspension, and big engine, the XV has become quite the popular cafe racer—against all odds.

This custom 1987 Yamaha XV920 comes from Anton and Silvester of BTC Garage in Bulgaria. The XV920 isn’t the lightest bike around, so the front-end modifications were worth it for the brake upgrades alone. Anton and Silvester modified the entire front end of the Yamaha R1 to match the XV’s steering head, before fitting a new LED headlight, clip-on handlebars and instrument panel.

The fuel tank is from a Honda Hornet and matches the Yamaha frame beautifully, painted in Gulf Racing livery. The rear subframe is a scratch-built unit, finished off with a custom solo seat trimmed in grey suede. A slim taillight juts out from the rear, with new handlebars and seat requiring rearsets to improve the riding position.

The same R1 that supplied the front end also donated rear shocks for a sportier ride, while the rear wheel gets a solid cover and a side-mounted number plate. Since the stock front end was completely removed, Anton and Silvester relocated the battery to a custom battery box, hidden under the swingarm.

To help the engine breathe, the airbox (which also serves as the backbone of the frame) has been upgraded with a new high-flow air filter. Exhaust gasses exit quickly through a custom stainless steel two-into-one system that looks mighty loud.

Triumph Bobber EVO Performance by Thornton Hundred
Triumph Bobber by Thornton Hundred Thornton Hundred constantly walks the line between heritage and cutting-edge engineering, and their new EVO Triumph Bobber is the latest example of this. Using the eponymous Triumph Bobber as a base, Jody Millhouse and his incredibly talented team have taken the 1,200cc machine to new heights.

Built at the famous Valley Motorsports in the UK (home to most Formula 1 teams), the Thornton Hundred has tapped into the expertise of the incredible engineers they call their neighbours. Their relentless pursuit of perfection is a result of their custom frame, carbon fibre fuel tank and revised suspension. The suspension, supplied by K-Tech, has been updated with motorsport-like geometry for a fun ride, while the Thornton Hundred-branded brakes are custom items from HEL Performance.

Powered by the excellent Triumph 1,200cc parallel-twin, the EVO Bobber would be fine with factory output. The Thornton Hundred, however, is anything but ‘fine’. Power output has been increased from 79hp to a whopping 120hp.

Thanks to the custom frame and carbon bodywork, the EVO Bobber’s total weight is just 169.6 kg. [374 lbs]—this makes the improved power delivery even more powerful. That’s 79.8 kg [176 lbs] lighter than the original Triumph Bobber and, as boldly mentioned on the TH website, 126 kg [278 lbs] lighter than the Harley Davidson Fat Bob.

That said, the weight reduction translates into more agility, sharper handling and blistering acceleration. To match the performance, the bike’s electronics have been upgraded with a host of Motogadget parts, custom wiring, new LED lighting and keyless ignition.

The EVO Bobber is also distinguished by its exclusivity. Thornton Hundred has limited the series to just 25 units, each one custom-built to the owner’s specifications. That makes it not just a custom motorcycle, but a collector’s item—an investment in both craftsmanship and engineering excellence. [More]
