Samsung is known for trolling Apple around its annual event every year, but the Korean giant has had to taste defeat after Glowtime 2024. Just like previous years, Samsung tried to criticize Apple during the September event through a number of indirect posts on X. The company also supported and shared posts from other users criticizing Apple products. Although both Samsung and Apple have a loyal following, an anti-Apple post on X has caused Samsung to fall. When the Apple Watch Series 10 was launched at the Apple 2024 event, YouTuber Quinn Nelson took to X to criticize the iPhone maker for relying on the same design. Samsung tried to use this post to attack its biggest rival, but it backfired.
Sharing an image of the Apple Watch Series 10, Quinn Nelson wrote, “The new design is gorgeous. Well, still the same.” Following up on the viral post, Samsung responded with “You said it, not us.” While Samsung hoped to ride out the anti-Apple wave, they were drowned out when Nelson responded with a “rude” comment. Slamming the years-old design of Samsung smartphones, Nelson wrote “Hey, it’s the same phone you’ve had every year!”
Samsung mocks Apple for not having a foldable phone
Like years ago, Samsung once again mocked Apple for not having a foldable phone. During the Apple 2024 event, Samsung re-shared its old post that read, “Let us know when it’s foldable.” While sharing the post, Samsung wrote, “Still waiting….” The company also criticized the new AI features in the iPhone 16 series.
