The second edition of the FedEx Cup Fall takes place this week in Napa, California, at the 2024 Procore Championship. Returning to Silverardo Resort and Spa once again, the PGA Tour welcomes a group of veterans, young golfers and Presidents Cup participants.

Americans Sahith Theegala, Max Homa and Wyndham Clark lead the way in California. Theegala and Homa have won the last three Proscore titles between them, making the Silverado a strong starter as the Americans hope to play Royal Montreal after learning some tough lessons from last year’s Ryder Cup. Theegala and Clark head to East Lake Golf Club for the Tour Championship, while Homa hopes to find form after being named captain by Jim Furyk.

Homa endured a horrendous second half of his season with off-the-tee trouble. He has since parted ways with his longtime hitting coach, Mark Blackburn. On the other side of the aisle, representing the International team at Proscore are Mackenzie Hughes, Corey Conners and Min Woo Lee. Unlike Conners, Hughes and Lee have more than just form to play for, as they both missed the top 50 qualifying spots for the 2025 Special Events.

Entering this week ranked 52nd and 60th, Hughes and Lee hope to remain in The Next 10 — the top 10 players at the FedEx Cup Fall who will ultimately qualify for the first two special events of 2025.

Amateur golfer Luke Clanton returns to the PGA Tour and looks eager to compete once again alongside rising superstar Michael Thorbjornsen. Maverick McNealy, Eric Cole, Patrick Rodgers and Beau Hossler are among those seeking their first career PGA Tour wins in the wine country.

2024 Procore Championship Field, Odds

  • Sahith Theegala (11-1): The defending champion returns to Napa with a wave of form behind him. Finishing third in the 2024 FedEx Cup, Theegala posted career highs in total strokes, strokes gained off the tee and strokes approached. While his driving range took a nice step forward last season, his short game hasn’t been as consistent as it usually is. If he can clean that up, he’ll have a great chance to make a comeback like Homa did a few years ago.
  • Wyndham Clark (12-1)
  • Corey Conners (14-1): Conners had one of his most underrated seasons, having his best year with his irons but failing to qualify for the Tour Championship. The Canadian has been as consistent as he has been in 2024, but his improvement has largely been due to his struggles on and around the greens. That’s an area to watch at Silverado, as Conners has struggled in his previous four appearances due to shortcomings in his short game.
  • Luke Clanton (16-1): Clanton returned to the PGA Tour after a run at the US Amateur, where he qualified for match play before being eliminated in the Round of 32. He has established himself as a professional on the PGA Tour with a top-five finish at the Wyndham Championship and a runner-up finish at the John Deere Classic. Clanton has plenty of power under his belt and could once again threaten to become just the second amateur to win in less than a year.
  • Max Homa (20-1): Homa is hoping to do some home cooking this week because he’s dreading the end of his 2024 year. The six-time PGA Tour winner, who hasn’t finished in the top 20 since early May, has struggled mightily with the big club in his hands and ultimately failed to qualify for the Tour Championship. While his driving was his biggest concern, his irons and putter haven’t fared much better. The good news is that he’s had three straight top-10s in Napa, including a win in 2021-22.
  • Min Woo Lee (22-1): The Australian’s first full season on the PGA Tour featured plenty of good — but not great — golf. Lee had a couple of runner-up finishes, but those were his only top-20 finishes of the season. He added seven more top-25s as he seemed to live on the third page of the rankings thanks to his ball-striking acumen and deft short game. Lee will need to step up his irons if he hopes to compete more regularly and cement his place in the feature events.
  • Maverick McNealy (25-1)
  • Keith Mitchell (30-1)
  • JJ Spaun (40-1)
  • Eric Cole (40-1)
