Alvaro Bautista’s contract extended with Aruba.it Racing

Aruba.it Racing – Ducati has announced a contract extension with Alvaro Bautista, confirming he will continue to ride the original Ducati Panigale V4R in the 2025 WorldSBK season.

Alvaro Bautista – Aruba.it Ducati Racing

“I am very happy to continue another season with Ducati, with Aruba and with this great team, who represent a family for me. I feel perfect physically and mentally, and I am sure that I can still compete very well. Furthermore, there is an extraordinary relationship with everyone, from the mechanics to the management, to the sponsors, which is why I am even happier. I would like to thank Ducati, Aruba, Stefano Cecconi, Daniele Casolari and Serafino Foti for their trust in me. I hope I can repay them by coming back to have as much fun on the track as we did in the previous races.”

Alvaro Bautista

Bautista made his Superbike debut in 2019 on the Ducati Panigale V4R and became the World Superbike Champion for two consecutive seasons in 2022 and 2023.

The Talavera de la Reina rider has a total of 61 WorldSBK victories – making him the most successful Ducati rider in the championship’s history – and his 100th podium finish came in Race 1 of the final round held in Portimao (Portugal).

Stefano Cecconi – Aruba.it Racing Ducati Team Captain

“I have said many times that our priority is to continue with Alvaro and I cannot wait to officially announce the extension of our partnership. It has been a pleasure to work with him, both personally and professionally. I am convinced that by continuing to work hard together, we will be able to overcome the new challenges that the new regulations pose for us. In the last few races, we have found solutions that have helped Alvaro regain the feeling he was lacking at the beginning of the year. Now, we must continue on this path to make a great finale of the season and close the gap between us and the leaders.”

Luigi Dall’Igna – General Director of Ducati Corse

“We are delighted to continue with Alvaro Bautista. He has given us great emotions in recent seasons, and his talent is certainly still unquestionable. The new regulations and the very high level that the Superbike World Championship has reached will make 2025 a challenge, but we are ready to face it together. For now, the important thing is to focus on the current season: the Championship is still long, and we will do everything possible to put Alvaro in a position to defend the World Championship title until the end.”
