After a sign was spotted earlier this week at PAX West, Arc System Works has now confirmed the fighting game Guilty Gear tries is on its way to Nintendo Switch.

While it is set to provide all pack (which includes 28 existing fighters), one thing that seems to be missing is cross-play. Game producer Ken Miyauchi confirmed on social media platform ‘X’ that it won’t be in this particular release, but hey – it still has rollback netcode:

“FYI, GUILTY GEAR -STRIVE- The Nintendo Switch version does not support cross-play, but runs on rollback netcode.”

Guilty Gear Strive is now in its fourth season, with Arc System Works recently revealing a Cyberpunk: Edgerunners cameo on the way. Our friends at Push Square rated the game “fantastic” with nine out of ten stars. when it first launches on PlayStation platforms in 2021.
