Dam of Group 2 winner Black Forza sells for $240,000


Harlee Honey English group 2 winners Forza Black sold for $240,000 to Miss Vicky Stables at the Keeneland August Flash Sale that ended on August 29. Black Forza was highly regarded in his U.S. debut at the $1 million National Thoroughbred Stakes at Kentucky Downs September 1st.

Agented by Legacy Bloodstock, Harlee Honey is an 11-year-old winning mare, a daughter of Harlan’s Holiday, who is pregnant. Zandon . Of the mares ranked at Carson City, Absolute Nectar, she is a half-sister to the Grade 2 winner California Nectar .

Ocean honey a winning half-sister to Black Forza, sold for $48,000 to Ocean Honey Partners. The winning 4-year-old mare of West Coast was assigned by Paramount Sales, an agent, as a prospective breeding mare.

Keeneland’s next auction, the inaugural September Yearling Auction, will begin on September 9.
