I jumped back into the world of Silent Hill After watching the awesome new trailer for Silent Hill 2 redo. I’m playing OG Silent Hill on the current PS Vita, and you know what, it’s aged surprisingly well; arguably even better than the original. Devil’s abode. It still retains a pleasant sense of atmosphere and dread.
I also just decided to start a new game. Pokémon Omega Ruby for some reason. I know it sounds like I did it reluctantly, but no, I just had the urge! I’m having fun with it, but I’m not sure how I’ll invest in the coming days.

I became completely addicted seed. I think they’re planning on bringing it to Switch one day, but for now, I’m playing it on Steam Deck. It’s incredible! It’s made by a couple of ex-Fables the developers, and you can see a lot of Fable’s DNA there (lots of cheesy jokes), but it’s also incredibly impressive how many systems and ideas they put into the game. This is truly a gem.

Since release Nintendo World Championship: NES VersionMy weekend consisted of shaving every millisecond off my speedruns in the game’s various modes until my thumbs hurt. This is a title that has captured my attention and made me want to come back.
I just beat the ultimate Metroid Prime Remake after putting effort into it for a while and now turning my attention to Metroid: Samus Returns on 3DS (which would make a great Switch port). A friend also had high praise for Kill Spire and encouraged me to play this game, so I finally gave it a try!

I’ll be travelling a lot this weekend because of the UK Bank Holiday, so I’ll try to get it 100% done. Super Mario Bros. Amazing to eat up the passenger’s long journey. Wonder has been my mobile game of choice since its release.
Once I was settled in at the campsite, it was time to part with the joycon and play some multiplayer Worms. The 4-player skirmish in WMD Worm has recently become an interesting topic in group meetings.

Fandango is fierce seemed so inaccessible when I was a kid. Back in 1998, when I only had an N64, PC games were mystery boxes in the corner of the Electonics Boutique and HMV. I never got to play them.
I recently picked up the Switch version on sale. I was expecting some dry point-and-click, but exploring a fully 3D (well, pre-rendered) environment was a breeze. Resident Evil-style backgrounds) is a joy. The writing is unique and full of personality. Now I understand why it is considered a classic.
I have never played a game like this and I will play more this weekend. And I still want to finish the fun Dungeon of Dreadrock also.

After polishing War trench This week I had a bit of a change of tactics and finally got back to Mario + Rabbids Ray of Hope with the ultimate intention of ending it. That said, that game slap. Right now I’m just focusing on the main storyline, but I find these side quests will keep me going for a while longer.
Elsewhere, I hope to spend some time with Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Red Rescue Team on NSO. This was my mainstay back then, so I was excited to see if I was still interested in it 18 years later.

There’s nothing better than relaxing after a stressful week with a cozy game, which is why I continued my investigation into a creepy murder mystery in the eShop demo. Emio – The Smiling Man: Famicom Detective Club. Hey, everyone’s definition of a “cozy game” is different, okay? This episodic demo delivered everything I love about the FDC series—high-quality visuals, an engaging storyline, and a spoonful of chilling atmosphere. It’s got me excited for the game’s full release next week.
Once I chew through all that too quickly, I might explode. Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Red Rescue Team ABOVE Game Boy Advance – Nintendo Switch Online for more post-game antics. Anyone who thinks every Pokémon game is too easy hasn’t experienced the excruciating pain of spawning in a Monster House room on the 39th floor of a 40-story dungeon. Sigh.
