The world of dresses is flooded trend—from micro miniskirts and mini dresses to maxi dresses and lace petticoats—most are considered controversial in some way, shape, or form. People even like to debate whether pencil skirt “yes” or no, and they are one of the most classic items of this genre. But there are To be exceptions, and Zoe Kravitz just wore one of them to the New York City premiere of her new film Blink Twice, starring Channing Tatum and Naomi Ackie.

For the show, Kravitz opted for a look from The Row’s Winter 25 collection from top to bottom, wearing a nearly completely sheer, tan sleeveless bodysuit with a black cape wrapped around it. pleated She wore a pleated midi skirt and matching heels. She also carried one of the brand’s Ascot bags.

Pleated skirts like Kravitz’s have long held a place in the hearts of the fashion world, especially the Issey Miyake pleated styles. The designer’s signature skirts and separates are wardrobe staples for their comfort, versatility, and interesting textures. In fact, my fellow senior editor at Who What Wear, Anna LaPlacajust returned from Japan with two pieces of this brand, sharing that she would invest more if she could.
