HoYoVerse has released a new combat trailer for Qingyi, who will be the next playable S-tier character to debut in Zenless Zero Zone. Like Chu Yuan and other future characters Seth, Qingyi is a member of the Special Response Team that investigates crimes.

The trailer starts with Qingyi working at the station, before showing off her quick movements in battle. She fights with a folding stick, and she will be an Electric Stun character. In terms of kit, she can deal more damage to Stunned enemies and build up Flash Connect Voltage when she deals Electric DMG. After a certain point, she can enter Flash Connect State and deal Subjugation with a Finishing Move, increasing the enemy’s Stun DMG Multiplier.
Previously, HoYoVerse revealed some information about Qingyi’s voice actors. In English, Kira Buckland voices her. Buckland’s previous roles include 2B in NieR AutomataJolyne Cujoh in JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure: Ocean Stoneand Edna in The Story of Zestiria. Qingyi’s Japanese voice actress is Maria Abo. Qingyi is her first leading role, as all of her previous roles were supporting characters. Finally, Qingyi’s Chinese voice actress is Hao Sibai. Hao’s previous roles include Encore in Howling WavesLorelei in Reverse: 1999and Ariel in Road to nowhere.
Zenless Zero Zone To be available on PS5, Windows PC, and mobile devices. Qingyi will launch playable in Zenless Zero Zone as part of Version 1.1, will be released live on August 14, 2024.
