Cardi B temporarily “paralyzed” after “freak accident”

Cardi B is getting real with her followers about a scary moment that happened during her pregnancy. While speaking to fans in a X Chat SpaceThe rapper recounts a recent “freak accident” that left her temporarily “paralyzed” and almost left her miscarriage.

“I had a terrible accident,” she recalled. “I don’t know why—well, it wasn’t a small accident, but it really hurt.

“It doesn’t really happen that often, but it becomes [sic] “It was so big that I was literally paralyzed,” she continued. “And that little thing almost cost me my baby.”

The star (born Belcalis Marlenis Almánzar) said luckily “it didn’t” cost her the baby.

“Yesterday I felt fine. I came home, but I came home high as a kite,” she said, adding that after the drugs wore off, she was in pain. “Today, I’m sober, baby. I’m dying, if I don’t feel fine in four hours, I’m going to the hospital and I don’t care.”

“I’m going to exaggerate this so I can get more morphine. Give me morphine! I don’t care,” she joked.

Cardi announced her third pregnancy earlier this month, just one day after it was announced that she had filed for divorce from husband Offset (real name Kiari Kendrell Cephus). The estranged couple share 5-year-old daughter Kulture and 2-year-old son Wave, though Cardi is seeking full custody, according to Page six.

I am so grateful to have shared this season with you, you have brought me more love, more life and most of all renewed my strength!” she wrote in pregnancy announcementalong with photos of her cradling her baby bump in a plunging red dress and matching jacket. “Reminding me that I can have it all! You remind me that I never have to choose between life, love, and my passion! I love you so much and can’t wait for you to see what you’ve helped me accomplish, what you’ve pushed me to do! It’s so much easier to accept the twists, turns, and challenges of life, but you, your brother, and your sister have shown me why it’s worth it!”
