The bond between dogs and humans can be costly, especially for this beautiful dog named Moose. Moose had a very tragic life and was adopted when he was found abandoned on the side of the road by his original owner who no longer wanted him. He was tied to a road sign as if he meant nothing. That’s when Eleventh Hour Rescue in New Jersey took Moose in. This sweet dog needed a stable environment and a new owner who would never give him up. Meet Moose and here is his story!

Moose was lucky enough to find the perfect father and a new best friend. However, tragedy struck his life when his father became seriously ill. Moose was very loyal and was by his father’s side day in and day out. But sadly, that day finally came too soon and his father passed away. Moose’s grief was too much to bear and he refused to leave the empty hospital bed.

This photo of Moose went viral, convincing people that a dog’s loyalty never ends. It was shared thousands of times and helped Eleventh Hour Rescue get him safely home.”

Eleventh Hour Rescue immediately stepped in to help the grieving Moose. Their priority was to find Moose a new home where he could thrive and move on from his loss. Moose’s story eventually went viral, catching the attention of several rescue organizations. A lucky family ended up successfully adopting Moose after just a few days. We know Moose will never forget his father, but he is now happy and cared for.
