UN official describes situation in Gaza as ‘absolutely dire’ amid severe shortages

Ms. Kaag also outlined the critical needs for local non-governmental organizations (NGOs), particularly the safety and security of humanitarian organizations as well as the civilians they seek to assist.

Humanitarian mechanism
