New spy photos show Nissan Patrol 2025 is being tested in the United Arab Emirates, giving us our best look yet at the next generation Toyota land cruiser competitor.

Like the previously spied models, we can see a more squared-off shape as well as taller, more vertical front lights.
The new Patrol will ditch the current model’s V8 engine in favor of a twin-turbo V6.
It’s likely to be the same 3.5-litre engine as the one in the recently launched luxury Y63 Patrol, Infiniti QX80.
In this flagship SUV, the engine produces 336kW of power and 698Nm of torque, mated to a nine-speed automatic transmission.

Infiniti QX80 2025 -
Nissan will launch its 2025 models “very close to what we consider to be the ideal launch,” Papin said. [timing]”, that is, around late summer in the north.
As such, the Patrol, still known as the Armada in North America, is expected to debut there in August.
However, it will be a while longer before a right-hand drive Patrol is available.
Earlier this year, Nissan’s AMIEO (Africa, Middle East, India, Europe and Oceania) division confirmed it would launch four new models over the next two years, including a new pickup truck, likely the next-generation Navara, and a mid-size electric SUV.

The remaining two vehicles have yet to be specified. These launches are part of Nissan’s mid-term business plan, The Arc, which sets out a number of targets for the company to achieve by fiscal 2026.
However, it is unclear whether these cars will arrive at the beginning or end of Japan’s 2026 fiscal year, which runs from April 1, 2025 to March 31, 2026.
Traditionally, some Nissan models like the Patrol have arrived in Australia much later than other markets.
While the current Y62 Patrol entered production in 2010, it wasn’t until 2013 that it became available in Australia.

Infiniti QX80 2025
The 2025 QX80 gives us a preview of the Patrol/Amrada’s body, but the Infiniti has unique front and rear styling.
We can also expect different interior designs between the two models, although we expect the new Nissan to receive similar tech upgrades over its predecessor.
The QX80 has a 14.3-inch digital instrument cluster and a 14.3-inch infotainment touchscreen, which sit together to form a widescreen panel. It also has a 9.0-inch screen below for functions like climate control.
Meanwhile, the outgoing Patrol has received a tech update in Australia to keep it fresh, including a new 10.1-inch infotainment touchscreen with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, as well as a wireless phone charger.
