Morikawa has qualified in 14 of the 16 events played this season, but he has yet to win any of them. In fact, he has won just one tournament on the PGA Tour since his victory at the 2021 Open Championship, which was his second major victory.
Morikawa has not finished in a major since, despite having five top-10 finishes in his last 10 majors. Koepka has yet to live up to his expectations from his major championship season, qualifying all three times but finishing outside the top 25 in each.
