Former President Donald Trump said he was shot and hit by a bullet in the upper right ear.
The former president, who spoke at a rally in Butler, Pennsylvania, said on his social media page that he knew something was wrong.
“I heard the whistling, the gunshot, and immediately felt the bullet go through my skin,” he quoted.
Trump said the bullet passed through the upper part of his right ear.
He thanked the U.S. Secret Service and local law enforcement for their quick response. He also expressed condolences to the family of the person killed at the protest as well as the family of one person who was seriously injured.
