Fly Delta business class to Europe over the holidays for $2,522 round-trip
You can save big Delta Airlines Travel business class to Europe now. Prices for nonstop flights from New York City to highly rated destinations in Greece, Italy and Spain are on sale and availability is unusually good.
Almost every route in this latest sale includes Delta One cabins on the airline’s new A330-900neo jets, which feature The suites lie flat with memory foam mattresses and great food and beverage options. The Barcelona and Madrid route uses Delta’s retrofitted 767 jets; they still offer lie-flat seats, but the plane is no longer as new as the cabins on the A330s.
The travel window runs from July 2024 — Europe’s peak summer travel period — all the way to February 2025. The best prices and greatest availability we’ve seen are for for winter flights and unlike many ticket sales, holidays are included. So if you’re looking to take a break from family organizing for Thanksgiving or Christmas, you’re in luck.

I’ve used Google Flights to hunt for the best prices, as I find the interface more user-friendly than Delta’s site. I started with Spain and found late summer flights from JFK to BCN for $2,522 round-trip.
To give you an idea of how good this deal is, Google Flights says this route typically costs twice as much.
You can fly direct from JFK to MAD for a round-trip ticket of $2,526.
We found these prices on several November and early 2025 itineraries.
You can also save big when traveling to Italy in late summer. We found seats from New York City to Milan in late July and August for $2,541.
That’s a great price, and because it’s on Delta’s A330-900 jets, you can enjoy the latest and greatest Delta One product.
It can get very hot in Italy in August, but it might be worth taking this flight – it offers great discounts on sleeper seats across the Atlantic.
August also has the best prices to fly to Rome. We found business class seats from New York City to Rome for $2,553.
We told you earlier that this sale covers travel during major holidays. If you want to spend Thanksgiving in Italy, you can book a business class ticket from New York City to Rome for $2,766.
One note: This is the only route we see to Italy in this sale where Delta uses a Boeing 767 instead of one of the newer Airbus A330s. Still, it’s a great price.
What about Greece, you ask? We found good availability around Thanksgiving for flights to Athens for $2,630 round-trip. Similar prices apply in December, making this a good choice for a family stay during the holiday season.
