Magnier Goes to $1.35M for Uncle Mo Colt
M.V. Magnier gave Ashford Stud sire Uncle Mo his second seven-figure yearling Sept. 11 during opening day of the Keeneland September Yearling Sale. He went to $1.35 million to land the colt (Hip 130) sold by Penn Sales for Bar C Racing Stables.
The colt’s dam, Forever for Now (War Front ) is a half sister to the group 3-placed Galileo winner Carlisle Bay , who was bred by Coolmore Stud and raced by Susan Magnier, Michael Tabor, and Derrick Smith. The sale yearling’s fourth dam, All Too Beautiful, is a full sister to Coolmore’s leading international sire Galileo.
