Hottest Day Evah! • Watts Up With That?
NOT A LOT OF PEOPLE KNOW THAT!
By Paul Homewood
Do they think we are really gullible?
Tuesday is the hottest day on Earth in the history of human civilization, according to a combination of global satellite data and historical tree-ring analysis. a point in the far north of Canada hotter than Miami. In Siberia, the temperature in the Altai reaches 94°F. Even though July is the middle of winter in the Southern Hemisphere, temperatures in Argentina and Chile have spiked to more than 86°F (30°C). In the Philippines, Metro Manila recorded its hottest day ever in July. Temperatures in Iran, Algeria and Oman all hit 122°F (50°C).
Paulo Ceppi, a climate scientist at the Grantham Institute in London, said: “It hasn’t been this warm since at least 125,000 years ago, which was the previous interglacial period. told the Washington Post. With Earth’s annual temperature cycle typically peaking in late July, this is a record that could be broken a few more times this month.
The idea that we know global temperatures today is absurd in itself. But the idea that we actually knew what it was on a certain date 100 years ago, or 1000 years ago, let alone thousands of years ago is completely deceptive.
And the claim that it is hotter now than it was 5000 years ago is a complete lie – there is ample evidence that it was much warmer then.
And as always with all these silly scary stories, they picked up some high Arctic temperatures, knowing the public would find them alarming because they assumed the Arctic was always freezing normally.
For example, “a point in the far north of Canada hotter than Miami.”
The link takes us to Kuujjuaq:
And daily temperatures from KNMI show temperatures above 90F, 32C, which is not uncommon there. The new record of the 93F replaces the old record of the 92F set in 1999, which is nothing to worry about!

Then there’s Siberia:
“In Siberia, the temperature in the Altai goes up to 94°F.”
But again we know that temperatures often exceed 90F there; 96F’s record set in 2000:
And according to rogue merchants, there were record melting of the Greenland ice sheet.
Maybe Eric Holthaus turned his chart upside down! Greenland added 100Gt of ice in June, when it was thought to be melting.

Naturally the BBC and the rest of the media henchmen peddled similar lies and nonsense:
