JetBlue launches its first paint refresh

JetBlue is getting a makeover.
The New York-based carrier has revealed plans for its first standard paint color refresh. It has a new blue paint finish that adorns the entire fuselage and features patterned caudal fins.

An Airbus A321 (registered N982JB) include JetBlue’s Mint business class is the first aircraft to receive the new paint job and it will enter service on Thursday, June 15. JetBlue plans to repaint all of its existing planes, excluding those special paint color.
Jayne O’Brien, JetBlue’s head of marketing and loyalty, said: “The new paint helps us stand out from the old carrier skies and is a great reflection of the role that the company plays. us as breakers of the unique combination of lower fares and great service.”
The make-up contrasts sharply with JetBlue’s current paint job, which has a simpler white body with blue caudal fins. The New York-based carrier said it wanted newer paint colors and more colors to reflect its role as an “industry breakthrough brand”.
The Airbus A321 (which will be the first to receive the new design) will include a mint and white caudal fin pattern to indicate that it includes the Mint cabin class. Other planes will have different patterns and accent colors as part of the redesign.
