In case you didn’t know, the contest offers a unique opportunity for photographers to showcase the vast breadth and depth of ocean beauty and shed light on the lesser-known promise and full potential. beneath its waves. The United Nations World Oceans Day photo contest is curated by Ellen Cuylaerts and judged by a jury of world-renowned photographers. The 2023 competition was organized in partnership with the DPG, Oceanic Global, the United Nations Division of Ocean Affairs and Law of the Sea, Nausicaa, and UNESCO’s Intergovernmental Oceanographic Commission. The judges include: Rathika Ramasamy, Ipah Uid Lynn, Rajan Desai and Antoine Janssens.
