Fix Instagram bug forcing iPhone users to review similar stories

This week, Instagram users on Apple iPhones are said to have experienced an app crash where they were forced to watch stories over and over again after seeing them once. That means users have to revisit previous stories to see new stories.
As reported by The Verge, the repeat issue of Instagram Stories for iPhone appears to have started this Monday. When contacted earlier by The Verge, Meta spokeswoman Christine Pai said that the company is “aware that some people are having difficulty accessing Instagram Stories”. The engineering team noted it on Thursday morning and released an update to the iOS app that fixed the bug.
Instagram users took to other social media to complain about the bug. While the exact cause of this problem is still unclear, it is now fixed.
As far as the app is concerned, the final update allows users to perform Reels for up to 90 seconds. Previously, users could only upload Stories for up to 60 seconds. In the same update, the company also introduced other features like interactive stickers, templates, and the option to import your own sounds.
