Logic has accused Def Jam of tampering with his music releases.
“Def Jam, why do you keep releasing my release, man? First of all, I love you Tunji. Tunji is my man, he has nothing to do with this. What’s going on, man? ” he says.
“I told Def Jam that I wanted to release my sh*t as two singles and I just found out that they will be releasing it as two singles at the same time. What kind of sh*t is that? On top of that, they told me, ‘Oh, don’t quit your music videos early’ because by doing so you could annoy our partners, who feel like YouTube is monopolizing. “I don’t give af*ck about none of that. I care about my fans, man. I care about Hip Hop. I care about music”.
The rapper has promised fans that his next album will be out in June.
“Def Jam, don’t spoil my business. Vinyl Day coming out in June. I’m so excited, I love you guys, but they’re holding me back. Everyone in that building, who was really there for me – I love you guys, thank you so much. Everyone else can eat a dick. ”
