9 mistakes when cleaning the closet to avoid
I don’t consider myself a particularly impulsive person, except when it comes to cleaning my wardrobe. When I ran out of hangers or couldn’t fit anything else in the drawer, I started throwing away everything in the donation pile. Most of the time, the items that I choose to toss is justifiable, but I must admit that it is my fault to dismiss a good fundamental trend or a trend that is still stable.
The question you might be thinking is: Well, how do we know what we will regret? give up in this moment? It’s actually a valid question, because it’s easy to just look at an item and think Well, I’m tired of this, so let’s go. The way to avoid this is to ask yourself a few simple questions: Is it still suitable for me? Is it good condition? If the trend comes back, will I still want to wear it? Is it a basic? And last but not least: Did I stop wearing it because I just forgot about it? If the answer to any of these questions makes you think twice, you should probably keep it to yourself for a while to avoid any Clean out the closet regrets.
