Champion Sire Dansili dies aged 25
Juddmonte Farms announced the 22nd of December the passing of the champion breeder Dansili at his birthplace, Banstead Manor Stud after a brief but aggressive illness. He is 25 years old.

He went on to become an even bigger influence as one of the leading British studs and males of his generation.
Coached in France by Andre Fabre, Dansili won his first and only race at the age of 2, and a four-time win on his debut at the age of 3 made him the most recognized player in the world. the top favorites for the 1999 French Two Thousand Guineas. Fifteen runner-ups posted, it was one of the biggest fields in race history, and Dansili just found Sendawar too good. He ran four more times that season, winning the Prix Messidor (G3) and taking a place in the Prix du Haras de Fresnay-le-Buffard Jacques le Marois (G1) after the Dubai Millennium and Emirates Prix du Moulin de.
