Dogs are members of the family and they love to be treated that way. For example, most dogs don’t take rules like “don’t let dogs sit on the couch” or “don’t beg at the dinner table.”
After all, it doesn’t seem fair that everyone in the house eats human food and lounges on the sofa!
Alas, bulldog Reuben knows the struggles of being a dog in a world run by humans. He lives in a cozy home with a loving family, but even then, life doesn’t always seem fair.
For example, when Reuben sees his master relaxing on the couch, but his master doesn’t let him join!
An adorable video captures Reuben’s protest to the situation and it’s pretty hilarious. In the video, you can see Reuben trying to jump onto the couch where its owner is lying, but he’s not tall enough to get over it.
It tries its best to convince its owner to let it sleep, by whining softly, but its owner doesn’t give in. The dog then sprays his owner with “cheese-smelling mucus…”, before reluctantly going over to his dog’s bed.
“Look, it’s novel. He is actually using his own bed. Reuben’s owner can be heard speaking in the video once.
You would think it would all be over, but Reuben continued to let his owner know how he felt about the situation by letting out a few barks and whines of displeasure.
