Nebraska turned down a late intervention call to lose to Wisconsin
Officials missed a potential pass interference call in fourth in the five-yard line against Wisconsin in the final seconds of Nebraska’s 35-38 loss to the Badgers.
On days 4 and 20 at Wisconsin 21 with 12 seconds left, Nebraska midfielder Adrian Martinez attempted to get past Zavier Betts, which was blocked by cornerback Faion Hicks. Hicks made contact with Betts’ foot and caused him to miss a deep pass. After the game, Nebraska’s bench expressed displeasure with the missed call. Officials flagged Husker and allowed Wisconsin to hold on to the victory.

What a horrible season for Nebraska. An unfinished fourth down to what could have been overcome interference will give Wisconsin a 35-28 win over the Huskers.
