5 of the best portrait lenses for Sony Shooters

Sony cameras have a wide range of portrait lenses available, and if you’re looking for one, it can be difficult to know which one to choose to suit your needs, style, and budget. If you need a little help with that decision, check out this excellent video that will show you five great portrait lenses for Sony’s E-mount.

Coming to you from Stefan MallochThis amazing video will show you five of the best portrait lens option for Sony E-mount cameras. My personal favorite has always been Sigma 105mm f/1.4 Art. It’s definitely not for everyone, as it’s huge and quite heavy, and so if you don’t need that extra wide aperture, it’s probably not worth carrying around. However, if you love shallow depth of field or need a lot of light gathering power, then it’s hard to argue with Sigma. With it, you get excellent autofocus performance and clinically sharp stop-shot images with lovely bokeh and excellent control of aberrations. It is definitely the lens I miss the most in the Sony lineup since I switched back to Canon. There are plenty of other options, though, so check out the video above for a full Malloch rundown.
