5 clothes I will wear all season

At the beginning of this spring, I went through my wardrobe to rate the clothes I own. I donated a few things and fixed things that needed minor repairs. That process has helped me keep my closet organized and make the most of the clothes I already own.

As we neared summer, I pulled out some parts that I most of excited to wear in the coming months.

Today I’m sharing five pieces of warm-weather clothing that never get me lost — my summer wardrobe, if you will.

If you liked this post, check out some of my other recent style posts: One piece swimsuit that I will wear all summer + 4 pairs of shoes I will live this spring.

01

Trousers

Why I love them: I found a pair white overalls from Mango last summer which ended up being heavily rotated. The exact pair that I have is no longer available but Mango has a really similar style, linked here! When it comes to overalls, I love their style, comfort, and versatility for different occasions.

I also have a pair Jesse Kamm overalls that’s really special (I bought them from Idun and get press discount). The price point is high but the quality is too good. If you are interested in finding them at a lower price, resell sites like RealReal is a great choice to memorize!

How would I style them: There are many ways to style overalls. Usually, I like to pair them with a cropped t-shirt or tank top, along with sandals or clogs!

Floral dress

Why I love them: Ao dai tends to be my favorite piece of clothing during the warm weather months. You put one on and instantly look put together.

How would I style them: Usually, I would combine a dress with some sandals, a hat and swipe lipstick and I’m good to go.

Jumpsuit

Why I love them: The SKIMS and Maria Stanley the suit I own has a similar shape and both are great. They are very laid back, very flattering and supportive. The SKIMS bodysuit also comes in a variety of color options.

How would I style them: I love wearing these under A-line skirts or shorts in the summer.

Oxford shirt

Why I love them: i love u classic Oxford shirt—They are simple yet classy in the best way. I tend to prefer clothes that fit better and usually buy them from the men’s section (and sometimes I’ll borrow from Joe). I’ve also found some really cool stuff at thrift stores over the years.

How would I style them: One of my favorite ways to wear these is by wearing a bodysuit and shorts.

High waisted “Mom” shorts

Why I love them: I love the cut of these H&M’s Denim Shorts. They have a high waist and I find them really flattering. I bought a black denim washing set last summer and now have two more! I also have a pair of vintage items Levi’s I have worn it for many years and love and cherish.

How would I style them: I’m excited to wear these high-waisted shorts with so many things — floral tops, overalls, or button-down t-shirts.
