27 cozy sweaters we live in this time of year

I’m pretty sure I’ve been wearing the same outfit for the past three days and I’m not even kidding. Sherpa sweater, Lululemon Wunder Under tight pants, and matte socks. Say again.

No matter how much heat we give off in our apartment, I’m always cold. Maybe it has something to do with the anemia, but I believe there is only one continuous cold in the air after November 1 that will not go away. It doesn’t help that I’m always in the cold. From New York to Chicago for Thanksgiving, I went from freezing to freezing in 2 hours and 45 minutes by plane.

It’s Siberia wherever I go, and my sister informed me that after three days lounging around our apartment in a sherpa sweater, I needed to change. She approached me and sniffed at me, wondering if I was the one who sniffed instead of our dog (it was our dog for sure). But regardless, she has a point. I really need to change.

So I rummaged through my closet and realized that all my favorite sweaters are in my New York apartment, and the clothes here in Chicago are high school closets. mine, which I really don’t need to recall. I obviously can’t go and change to something more structured; I need my coziness sweater. And so I turned to the most affordable and accessible option I know: Amazon.

I immediately knew I made the right choice. There are chunky knits, turtlenecks, even a few sherpas I add to my cart as soon as they appear on screen. Within two days, I knew I would have a whole new wardrobe of sweaters on my doorstep without my wallet being scrutinized. So take a look below at all 23 of the warm sweaters we’re living with this time of year.

And Lily, you can stop sniffing at me right now.
