The two most important parts of The Return of the VW Bus finally revealed.

Volkswagen said on Wednesday 2025 ID.Buzz will cost $61,545 includes destination charge of $1,550 and has range up to 234 miles when it launches later this year. Those numbers aren’t for the same car.

Initially, the ID.Buzz will be offered in three trim levels including Pro S, Pro S Plus, and the launch-only 1st Edition. Rear-wheel drive will be standard, while a dual-motor model with all-wheel drive will be available, but only on the Pro S Plus and launch-only 1st Edition. Every ID.Buzz in the United States will has three rows of seats It has seating for six or seven passengers and a 91-kwh battery pack.

The base Pro S models cost $61,545 and feature a single rear-mounted motor that makes 282 horsepower and an EPA-rated range of 234 miles. Rear-wheel-drive-only models come standard with a second-row bench seat that seats up to seven passengers. Only three solid colors will be offered, including Candy White, Deep Black Pearl, and Metro Silver, with the option of Copper or Moonlight interiors. Standard 20-inch aluminum wheels fill the wheel wells, with LED lighting shaping the front and rear ends.

Each ID.Buzz will have a 12.9 inch touch screen infotainment system and 5.3-inch digital instrument cluster. Removable front center console. Eight 45-watt USB-C ports and a 12-volt trunk outlet keep things charged, along with a 110-volt, 150-watt passenger-seat outlet.

Pro S Plus models start at $65,045 with a single rear motor rated at 282 horsepower. Opting for the dual-motor model for all-wheel drive bumps the output to 335 horsepower, up price drops to $69,545 and drops EPA-rated range to 231 milesThe three solid color options from the base model remain, but for $995, the palette opens up to a host of two-tone options. The interior can be specced in Cooper, Moonlight, or Dune.

The extra coin adds a head-up display and a surround-view camera system, along with a 700-watt, 14-speaker Harmon Kardon audio system. Single-engine Pro S Plus models get a second-row bench seat for seven passengers as standard, while captain’s chairs are optional. Opting for the dual-engine powertrain makes second-row captain’s chairs standard.

The launch-only 1st Edition starts at $67,045 in single-motor form and $71,545 with the dual-motor powertrain. Each 1st Edition gets a Dune interior and five two-tone exterior color options. 1st Edition models get specific 20-inch wheel designs, roof rails, and badging throughout the vehicle, along with heritage-inspired floor mats. Single-motor models get a second-row bench seat, while dual-motor models get captain’s chairs.
