Update for this year in Malaysia is 2024 Honda Dash 125 underbone, priced at RM6,599 with a two-year or 20,000km warranty against manufacturing defects. Prices exclude road tax, insurance and registration and are up RM150 from the 2022 price of RM6,449.
There are three new color options for the Dash 125 for 2024 – Red, Blue and Silver. Otherwise, there are no changes to the Wave 125 with power coming from a 124.9cc air-cooled, two-valve engine.
The engine is Euro 4 compliant and Boon Siew Honda claims a power output of 9.85bhp at 8,000rpm and 9.54Nm of torque. Power is sent to the rear wheel via a four-speed gearbox with a centrifugal clutch and chain drive.
Similarly, there are no suspension changes to the Dash 125 with non-adjustable telescopic forks at the front and twin shocks with adjustable preload. Braking is done by single front and rear hydraulic discs acting on 17-inch wheels.
The styling remains the same, with a new LED headlight for 2022, as well as a new front fairing and headlight cowl. The fuel tank has a capacity of 4 litres and the seat height is 767 mm, while the ready-to-ride weight with a full tank of fuel is 105 kg.
