First publicly displayed in August 2022, Royal Enfield Hunter 350 Now available in Malaysia, priced from RM22,000. There are two model variants on offer, the Metro Rebel at RM22,200 and the Metro Dapper at RM22,000, with prices excluding insurance.
The only difference between the two Hunter 350 models is the color scheme, with a total of five options. The Metro Rebel has a two-tone paint job, while the Metro Dapper is covered in its own unique colors.
Since the Hunter 350 was introduced to the world, it can be seen that only the two most advanced versions of this model will be sold in Malaysia. This means Malaysian racers get 17-inch alloy wheels with 110/70 and 140/70 tubeless tyres, front and rear hydraulic disc brakes equipped with dual-channel ABS.
Designed as an accessible “do anything” motorcycle, the Hunter 350 is a combination of digital and analog gauges as well as a USB charging port. Suspension is done with telescopic forks at the front and twin shock absorbers at the rear with spring-load adjustable preload with seat height set at 800 mm and a 13-litre fuel tank.
Power for the Hunter 350 comes from Royal Enfield’s 349 cc, single-cylinder J-series engine, the same engine used in Meteor 350 and Classic 350 (prices are RM 24,500 and RM 23,500 in Malaysia respectively). The Hunter 350 produces 20.2 hp at 6,100 rpm and 27 Nm of torque at 4,000 rpm from the factory, mated to a 5-speed gearbox and chain-driven final drive, and Royal Enfield claims Maximum speed is 114 km/h.
