2023 KTM Brabus 1300R Edition 23 in Malaysia – only one for RM430,000 and it’s already on sale
First launched more than a year ago, KTM Brabus 1300R version 23 Now available in Malaysia, priced at RM43,000 excluding insurance, road tax and registration. Only one will be imported into Malaysia and the bad news is that it has already been sold.
The Brabus 1300R Edition 23 is limited to just 290 pieces – 145 each in Magma Red and Signature Black. The unit in Malaysia is featured in Black with styling cues from Brabus supercars such as Brabus 900 . missile version and Brabus 800XLP.
Based on the Kim Super Duke R, the Brabus 1300R comes with a 1,301 cc, eight-valve, liquid-cooled, V-twin engine that produces 180 hp at 9,500 rpm and 140 torque. Nm at 8,000 rpm, comes with a two-pipe Brabus exhaust system. With a six-speed transmission equipped with a quick shifter, the Brabus 1300R accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 3.2 seconds.
The difference between the Brabus 1300R and the Super Duke R is the installation of a single circular LED headlight emblazoned with the Brabus logo. Free use of Brabus carbon fiber components used on the 1300R including the air duct and under-tray saddle, as well as Brabus CNC machined aluminum components including triple clamps and footpegs.
Further attention to detail can be seen in the installation of custom seats made by Brabus interior experts along with rear seat covers. Suspension is done with WP Apex semi-active suspension, which has six damping modes – Comfort, Street, Sport, Track, Advanced and Auto.
