Husqvarna Motorcycles is leading the charge in electric off-road for young riders with its 2023 rev lineup that includes a choice of two models – EE 3 and EE 5 – with performance on par with petrol motorcycles. 50 cc.
Young riders can enter the exciting world of motor racing on the all-new EE 3 to learn off-road skills, while the EE 5 has a distinct competitive focus.
The EE 3, the youth base machine, is a complete motorcycle that delivers premium quality for beginners and recreational riders like the competition-focused EE 5 with its chrome frame. molybdenum, durable WP suspension and advanced lightweight construction, the EE 3 sets the standard for electric motorcycles.
The 3.8 kW peak power provides a thrill but won’t overwhelm younger riders, thanks to compliant delivery through smart, modern controls. The electric motor’s perpetual drive means no clutches or gearboxes to master, further simplifying the driving experience.
Small 10” diameter wheels add to the easy maneuverability of the EE 3, as well as a low, adjustable saddle height and lever-operated front and rear brakes. The quick-charge Li-Ion battery will bring the EE 3 back to life quickly.
Aimed at beginners and experienced riders, the EE 5 is inspired by the TC 50 motorcycle engine, delivering electric motor performance to match its internal combustion rival.
The chrome molybdenum frame, adjustable premium WP suspension, 12-inch front wheels and advanced lightweight construction make the EE 5 a complete front-running racing machine.
The electric motor of the EE 5 upgrades the performance package with a maximum capacity of 5 kW. It eliminates the need for a clutch or transmission so new riders can focus on building their off-road skills.
The EE 5’s run time is up to two hours of typical driving or 25 minutes in flat competition, while it only takes 70 minutes to fully charge the lithium-ion battery.
Young riders of all heights can hone their skills on the EE 5 thanks to the easily adjustable seat, which can be lowered even further (up to 550 mm) with the optional Dampers.
