Just a color update for 2023 Honda RS150R in Malaysia for RM8,299, unchanged from 2022. Suggested showroom price does not include road tax, insurance and registration and a new color option is Matte Charcoal Gray Metallic.
Other than that, there are no other changes to the RS150R, a liquid-cooled single-cylinder engine with four valves and a DOHC, powered by Honda’s PGM-Fi mated to a six-speed transmission. Power is listed at 15.82 hp at 9,000 rpm with 13.6 Nm of torque at 7,000 rpm, compared to previous figures of 15.3 hp at 9,000 rpm. and 13.5 Nm of torque at 6,500 rpm.
Braking is done by a single hydraulic disc with 296 mm front disc and 190 mm rear disc. Wheel and tire sizes are 90/80-17 at the front and 120/70-17 at the rear while the suspension is done with telescopic forks and a preload adjustable monoshock.
Small changes to the weight and seat height, now set at 119 kg and 786 mm, compared to 122 kg and 764 mm on the pre-facelift model. Fuel capacity is 4.5 liters and the monochrome LCD in the cockpit shows all the necessary information.
Other driving comforts include LED headlights and the RS150R rolls on 17-inch alloy wheels with 90/80 and 120/70 rubber tyres. RS150R 2023 will be available at authorized Boon Siew Honda dealers from June 3.
