2023 BMW Championship odds, picks, field, predictions: Golf expert fading Jon Rahm at Olympia Fields

World No. 4 Patrick Cantlay will try to win the BMW Championship for the third straight year when he tees off in the 2023 BMW Championship beginning Thursday at Olympia Fields outside Chicago. Two years ago, he defeated Bryson DeChambeau in a playoff at Caves Valley Golf Club in Maryland. Last year Cantlay edged Scott Stallings by a stroke at Wilmington Country Club in Delaware. This year Cantlay enters the second leg of the FedEx Cup Playoffs after losing in a playoff to Lucas Glover last week at the FedEx St. Jude. 

Cantlay is fourth in the latest 2023 BMW Championship odds, at +1000. Rory McIlroy is the +650 favorite in the 50-player BMW Championship field. Scottie Scheffler (+700) and Jon Rahm (+900) round out the top three choices in the PGA odds. One surprise: Nejad is taking a stand against Rahm. The reigning Masters champion, Rahm won the BMW the last time it was played at Olympia Fields. Three years ago he shot a course-record 64 in the final round and defeated Dustin Johnson in a playoff to win the BMW.

Fleetwood has been knocking on the door of his first PGA Tour victory.
