Glover’s putting has been strong in recent days, and he leads the PGA Tour in proximity to the hole on approach this season. He ranks in the top 15 of the tour in driving accuracy and strokes gained on approach, and Glover has a very strong 63.76% scramble rate. On the flip side, the expert is fading Scottie Scheffer. Scheffler is one of the game’s best players with a sky-high ceiling, but he is one of the betting favorites in the event and Cohen sees better value elsewhere. Scheffler’s putting issues are considerable, both in recent days and throughout the season. He ranks 146th on tour in strokes gained putting this season, and he is outside the top 100 in putts per round, one-putt percentage, and putting accuracy inside 10 feet. Scheffler is arguably the best player in the world from tee-to-green, and it shows in the metrics, but the putter can hurt him.
