Launched less than two weeks ago, the Kia EV6 is the second model introduced by Dinamikjaya Motors after the Carnival. Thanks to current EV offers, the all-electric crossover is offered exclusively GT-Line AWD variantretails for RM300,668 on the go without insurance, sales tax included.
Built on top of the Global Modular Platform (E-GMP) architecture also used by the EV6’s close relative, the Hyundai Ioniq 5, we get Kia’s EV with powertrain AWD Long Range. As such, there’s a 77.4 kWh lithium-ion battery pack powering a pair of electric motors – one per axle – providing a total system output of 325 PS (321 hp or 239 kW). ) and a torque of 605 Nm.
In terms of performance, you’re looking at a 0-100 km/h time of just 5.2 seconds and a top speed of 183 km/h. When fully charged, the EV6 offers a range of up to 506 km according to WLTP standards, supporting both AC (Type 2, 11 kW) and DC (CCS2, 350 kW) charging.
Despite sharing the same platform, the EV6 is significantly different from its Hyundai counterpart.
