This year will mark the event’s 24th renewal as well as the first time it has switched tracks in 10 years. Gulfstream Park has hosted this event since 2012.
In 2013, Gulfstream became the first street to hold consecutive events since Canterbury Park thus starting a longer-term commitment to the server. Canterbury hosted its first Inaugural Crowning Ceremony in 1999 and continued to host the event for the next 10 years.
