Zach LaVine Injury Update: Bulls star leaves Friday’s game with knee injury
The Chicago Bulls are awaiting the results of Zach LaVine’s knee test after he left the Bulls game against the Warriors with 8:28 left in the first inning.
According to The Athletic’s Shams Charania, LaVine will not return with what he describes as a left knee injury.
Across 37 games, LaVine is averaging 25.6 points, 4.9 rebounds and 4.3 assists on .491 / .412 / .872 shots. The Bulls are in first place in the Eastern Conference but will have to fight for the top spot as Miami, Brooklyn and Milwaukee are all sighing.

What is Zach LaVine’s injury?
LaVine appeared to have injured himself just three minutes after Friday’s game against Golden State. As the Warriors were about to serve 8:28 in the first half, LaVine intentionally fouled Stephen Curry and went straight into the Bulls locker room.
How long will Zach LaVine be out?
According to ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski, the Bulls are confident the injury is not serious and LaVine won’t miss a long time.
Chicago Bulls guard Zach LaVine will receive an MRI of his left knee on Saturday, but there is initial confidence that he has no serious injuries, sources told ESPN. It’s been described as “uncomfortable” and contains an error that calls for caution for tomorrow’s MRI.

Fitting that timeline, Lillard could miss anywhere from 19 to 25 games, and his return could depend on where the Blazers are in the standings by the time he’s ready. .
There may have been some initial concerns around the injury when LaVine tore an ACL in his knee in 2017 as a member of the Minnesota Timberwolves.
